Drilling Fluid Solids Control System Details-Original

A whole drilling fluid solid control system contain 5-7 mud tanks, agitators, mud guns, centrifugal pumps, shale shaker, vacuum degasser, desander, desilter, decanter centrifuge, hopper and connection pipes.

The equipment on 1-2 tanks, and others are only mud tanks with agitators. 

Separation detail:

Mud tank type: Square type, shell is corrugated type, thickness is 6mm, bottom has base like boat. the valves are butterfly valves, inlet pipe is 6" and discharge pipe is 8". Each tank has three sand discharged gates. One the surface of mud tank, there are 500mm width passage, guardrail, explore-proof lights for working at night. 

Agitator: Each cabin has one set horizontal mud agitators, impeller type is propeller type. Two layers.

Mud gun: Can clean the mud tank and agitators with 360 degree swivel.

Centrifugal pump: Between tanks, there need centrifugal pump, supply fluid for shale shaker, desilter etc also need centrifugal pump.

Shale shaker: Linear motion shale shaker, two sets usually. The drilling fluid from well head first go into the shale shaker to remove the bigger size. Shale shaker has big treating capacity.

Vacuum degasser: Remove the gas from drilling fluid after the shaker, the vacuum motor is 4KW. 

Desander and desilter: The separation size is smaller, after the shale shaker, the drilling fluid will go to a second and third separation process. The smallest size is 12-47 micron meters.

Decanter centrifuge: Usually choose middle speed decanter centrifuge, in working, middle speed is enough, the size is 5-7 micron meters. And middle speed has low cost and keep work long life.

Hoppers: Venturi hoppers. The hopers with centrifugal pump on one base can combine a Jet Mud Mixer. It is used to add bentonite and other chemicals.

Pipes: Pipes are very very important for solids control system. So when choose the solid control system, we first choose the inner pipe's towards. The fluid inlet, return etc.

Hydrocyclone Group for River Sand Separation

Hydrocyclone group is a equipment, using 2-18 hydrocyclones working together.

Each hydrocyclone has one valves to control flow rate. In the middle there is a pressure gage.

For this is 50 size hydrocyclone, so the cyclone material is polyurethane. The size more than FX100 is inner polyurethane, and outside is steel to protect.

Filter Unit for HDD Mud Recycling

In HDD projects, there is no much space, so the drilling mud recycling system are very small and easy remove. Because when one project finish, other projects can also use this equipment.

The desander type of our filter unit is combined with 2 hydrocyclones, one set linear motion shale shaker, one storage tank and one set centrifugal pump. The centrifugal pump can pump the drilling mud to supply to hydrocyclones and shale shaker. The fine size will be store in bottom tank.

Filter Unit in Drilling Waste Management

Now with the strictly requirement of environment, the drilling site must do well of waste management.

We new Filter Unit is using Filter Press company with mud tanks. Below is the photo show.

Before using it please check all equipment are in good condition, at the same time fill mixed drilling fluids into chemical feeding tank properly. Check all valves are on right position and then run the filter press to drive the press device.

Press plate should compress filter plates tightly and steadily. Turn on the plunger pump to transfer materials into the filter press. Materials will flow into the filtration room via path on filter plate. Under plunger pump pressure the clean fluids will penetrate out of filter cloth on filter plate then pass through access on filter plate.

After passing filter plate access the fluid will come out together through output port. The clean water after pressed will flow into water collection cabin. There is a set of vertical centrifugal pump on the water cabin to transfer the water into collection tank

The mud cake will be left in the filtration room till the cakes filled full of filtration room, then stop the plunger pump. Turn on the secondary pressing pump and maintain the pressure for a while before release press plate. Then pull the filter plates on by one to the direction of press plate to release mud cakes. The released cakes will be transferred out of the device skid by the belt conveyor. Then the whole device will begin a new circulation.

PMD48-30 Shale Shaker Screens and Rubber Mountings

The PMD 48-30 shale shaker screen is wave type, fit for FLC2000 shale shakers. 
From the outlook, the PMD 48-30 shale shaker screen has flat plate edge and serration type edge. In the middle east areas, the customers are all using the serration type edge. 

The Material of PMD48-30 shale shaker screen is SS304 or SS316, the edge material is galvanized material. Each piece's net weight is about 6.2 kgs, and the size is 1053x697mm.
